Job Purpose:
To develop and implement programmes that assure the assets' integrity taking into account the activities of other teams which can affect asset integrity e.g. corrosion assessments, process changes, equipment changes etc.

Accountabilities and End Results:
The integrity engineer will be accountable for the content of inspection plan(s) & workpacks for the asset(s) which they are responsible for. The ‘End Result’ for the Integrity Engineer is the continued safe operation of plant together with a well maintained RBI, anomaly database & maintenance management system. |

| Primary Functions: |
• Develop and maintain the Risk Based Inspection programme. Work with the Lead Integrity Engineer to interpret the RBI programme into inspection workscopes with the appropriate levels and types of inspection.
• Develop a Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) detection plan. Work with the Fabric Maintenance Coordinator to develop an integrated insulation removal and inspection programme.
• Act as integrity Team focal point for the preparation of all shutdown activities.
• Responsible for ensuring the topside anomaly management system is implemented and that anomalies are addressed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for carrying out first pass Fitness For Service (FFS), assessments and coordinating 3rd party assessments.
• Responsible for managing the defined life repair register / repair strategy and executing the installation of all defined life repairs.
• Work with the Lead Integrity Engineer to develop inspection strategies and programmes to address threats to asset integrity e.g. ‘package’ equipment; rotating equipment (wrt mechanical integrity); vibration; ‘tertiary’ equipment etc in line with industry best practice.
• Work with Lead Inspection Engineer to prepare workpacks.
• Responsible for generating and monitoring the status of Asset Integrity technical queries.
Responsible for the review and analysis of completed workpacks / programmes.
• Responsible for the preparation of Integrity Reviews to determine next inspection due date and the continuous update of the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) programme.
• Working with the Lead Inspection Engineer & Technical Assistant, develop Asset Integrity programmes within the maintenance management system (SAP) and ensure that changes to the programme are managed.
• Ensure any deferral or impairment of Asset Integrity SCE work has the appropriate risk assessment attached.
• Working with the Technical Assistant to prepare monthly and annual asset integrity reports.
• Member of the Asset Integrity Corrosion Management Team.
• Act as Company representative within relevant industry groups as required.
• Ensure timely closure of all assigned actions e.g. IMPACT, ICP, HSE/Corporate Audit etc.
• Contribute to the annual preparation of the Asset Integrity Team budget.
• Assist the Lead Integrity Engineer as required to control, forecast and work within the budget.

Requirements:
- Considerable Corrosion/Materials experience in the areas of Oil/Gas, Energy, Utilities, and Process.
- Experience of working as part of a multi - disciplined team who are responsible for the planning and the implementation of maintenance strategies for both offshore and onshore assets
- Strong interpersonal/client facing skills
- A background in the implementation of planned maintenance programmes / preventative strategies along with experience of working with other disciplines such as Mechanical Engineers and QA/ QC Specialists.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an operational environment
- Broad understanding of the fundamental and empirical aspects of corrosion
- Conversant with material selection, corrosion prevention, corrosion problem solving, risk based inspection (RBI), inhibition philosophies, strategies and technical specifications
- Ability to travel offshore if/when required

Qualifications Essential: Degree/Post Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or HNC/HND plus considerable relevant experience |

- Contribute to development of procedures to increase efficiency and quality of close out reports
- Assist line manager / team leader in ensuring that all field equipment and third party hire is promptly demobilised and maintained to an optimum and safe condition.
