The Baku operations were set up to deliver the inspection and integrity engineering services under the Independent Inspection Authority contract awarded by BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Ltd. The deliverables apply to the existing Azeri Field operations, Azeri Field developments and all the Shah Deniz Field developments. This is the largest project BP is currently undertaking and is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the world. |
The project is supported by two core teams, one operating in Baku in support of the existing operating facilities, and the other operating in Aberdeen and London in support of the development projects.
The Baku team is responsible for the system from well head to export and is involved in a wide range of tasks including RBI, inspection planning and implementation, data management, fitness for purpose assessments, corrosion assessments and advice.
