Questar®-PL has been applied by iicorr to numerous subsea and land based pipelines over the past 5 years. One of the most recent applications was on the giant BTC pipeline which transfers crude oil from the BP Caspian Sea fields to the Mediterranean cost of Turkey. The method combines risk assessment of internal and external integrity to arrive at a holistic inspection, monitoring and treatment solution for the pipeline. |

Questar ®-SS is a unique RBI tool which helps facility operators identify the optimum frequency of subsea intervention for manifolds, wellheads, flowlines and other associated subsea equipment. It relies on real data taken from industry sources to identify likelihood of failure of equipment and combines this with safety, environmental, repair cost and production consequences of failure evaluated in financial terms. |
