The Inspection Services department focuses on three main areas of inspection; remove video inspection, remote non-destructive (ultrasonic/eddy current) and flexible pipe technology. Our work involves the inspection of subsea tubulars, from risers to pipelines to caisson bundles to flexible pipe in-field. A combination of inspection technologies are available; visual, ultrasonic, eddy current, all of which can be combined or performed separately.

Our mixture of core personnel not only perform the work-scope but also design and build new tooling and deployment methods. Our team are a mix of electronic, mechanical and subsea experts giving a broad-base of knowledge.

All design engineers must undergo a period of offshore experience and obtain competency in both remote visual and remote NDT inspection work before they start work in design. This gives them added knowledge and allows the design of realistic tooling packages.

Recent times has seen the requirement for higher end technology solutions to deploy remote inspection technologies. To meet this challenge, we have commenced an upgrade and review period which resulted in our new "trac-scan" multi purpose system. This review also upgraded our existing technology while maintaining our proven methodology. Our goal is to perform our projects safely and efficiently in the best interest of the client. We are a flexible and focused group who are capable of multi-tasking between differing areas. Our flexibility is one of our greatest assets.
