Our engineers have a vast experience installing both topside and subsea FSM systems in various locations such as refineries and offshore platforms. With such an extensive knowledge and expertise at our fingertips we are able to install and commission systems quickly without much disruption to the site. We are able to install systems in various locations on the pipe, and in high and low ambient temperatures. We offer a flexible corrosion monitoring package from installation of the FSM to healthcare of the system ensuring that it maintains its optimum performance. Such flexibility enables us to be proactive to each client's unique requirements in corrosion monitoring. | Importance / Typical Application | |
It is important to locate the system on a section of pipe that will be representative of the rest of the line. For subsea applications this could be on the first section of carbon steel. For topside it could be on the export line close to the ESD. Normally the FSM system would incorporate a circumferential weld, this enables weld root corrosion to be monitored as well as the general corrosion conditions of the pipeline. We have a number of variants of the FSM system allowing most scenarios to be covered, these include subsea pipelines, topside zone rated areas, buried pipelines, and a special high temperature system for use in downstream processing. All the upstream systems are online and the data can be transmitted across the client TCP/IP network to enable easy access for data reporting by iicorr. |
